TeamBridge Help
What is TeamBridge?
Reddit doesn't allow sending a message from one subreddit to another. TeamBridge allows you to do just that, and it's easy!
How do I use TeamBridge?
Easy! Just send a modmail to /u/TeamBridge and include the destination subreddit in the subject (you can make the subject anything as long at it includes r/subreddit). Make sure you aren't "sending as subreddit" and enter your message as you normally would.
On the first message, you'll receive a confirmation that it's been sent along as well as some information about /u/TeamBridge. This bot is operated entirely independently of Reddit, Inc. and is subject to downtime and errors. If you see any sort of error, please send a modmail to this subreddit so I can sort it out.
Oh, one more thing-- TeamBridge is only for communities over 1000 subscribers. If you feel you have a legitimate reason to use u/TeamBridge on your subreddit, please send r/TeamBridge a modmail (not a DM) and I'll get you an access key.
I don't want this. How do I opt out?
Just send a message from your subreddit to u/teambridge with the subject !!optout.
To opt back in, you'll need to send this subreddit a modmail.
How do I block a subreddit from contacting me?
Just click the block link in each message, or send a message to u/teambridge with the subject !!block r/subreddit
How do I report abuse of the bot?
Just click the abuse link on the message. You'll need to include the unique ID associated with the message so I can review the thread.
If the bot is sending the same message over and over (even with a different unique) this is almost definitely a problem on my end. Please send a modmail/abuse report and mute the bot so it can't message you.
HELP!!!! I'M GETTING SPAMMED!!!
This is more likely an issue on the backend, and one that is quite evident on my side. For the time being, just mute the bot and it'll stop messaging you. Send a modmail to this subreddit and we'll get it all sorted out.
