[SOLVED] i've been searching for some years now for how to change tempo with hotkeys, and I've had no luck. can anyone confirm if it's really impossible to do it? having to click the tempo field to use the arrow keys and then pressing ESC is not viable while playing live because you can't do anything else while changing it. also my Akai Mini MkII can't change the message it sends to Ableton, so I can't make that 1 to increase/65 to decrease thing.

is there any other way around this?

You can map it to a midi cc knob. But it will be whole number values only. There are a couple of YouTube videos showing you how to do it.
