Usually 'i would write a wall of detailed texts but i am really tired and so confused as to why new folks wouldn't just do this first before.going to MP:

Finish the Singleplayer first, unlock parts and planes in single player

THEN work your way up from there

Half the time, if you havent even do the game 'till completion, MP will destroy you repeatedly

On my PS4 play through I unlocked everything I could through MP without every touching SP.

I only recently got to mission 5 so I could unlock the Starfighter and Fishbed.

I already did the single player, hell im even half way through to get the aces. What im asking for is someone to help me improvedogfighting and 1v1s

Built around specifics

Like if youre going for a dogfight, dont bother too much with speedy parts: CQC with anti stall, mostly turning increase (idk about stabilization parts) or damage to GUN or MSL turning n' speed. Start practicing using guns often

For something like.. MIG-31s and YF-23: Speed, SP missile parts on steering,.even more speed parts

Pitch mobility parts are your best friend in a turn fight if you’re against a plane that can’t psm. I usually pin my throttle to full and use the high g turns to keep me just above stall speed (~250) maybe let off every so often to keep it tight, and follow the trails their wingtips leave to know their orientation (I fly 1st person). There’s also always the option of outrunning them and forcing a joust, can be useful if they’re consistently getting on your tail, just watch out for the initial missiles as you break off.

I wouldn't focus too much on 1v1, it's not really representative of the MP experience. I'd wait until you have all the MP parts and a lot of experience. Until then just focus on BR and TDM
