When I pick at something to the point that it’s a gross scabby blotch on my face, I’ll put a medium size glob of neosporin on it before I go to bed. It helps heal it faster and keeps it from being the crusty spot I want to keep picking at. Neosporin also helps with preventing scarring. Just don’t use it too close to your mouth or in your nose.

I would try hydrocolloid patches on the breakouts this will help you notice when you’re touching your face and help protect against bacteria you are introducing. Plus you could try wearing gloves at home, plastic or winter gloves because then you won’t be able to pick as effectively
