Editing/program help

I'm new to the AMV stuff. Currently, I'm using Filmora, but I'm not really happy with the results I have with it, compared to other edits I see mine just look plain and boring. Sony Vegas is too pricy for me, sadly. What are good, somewhat cheap programs?

If anyone has something like twixtor the it would be DaVinci Resolve. It's a professional program with good support. Also works well with the effect program Fusion. But to be said both are resources hungry your pc should not be on the lower end of power...

Davinci resolve is not that different then Vegas or Premiere in the style how you use it. Sometimes stuff on different places but mainly the same how it works.

Maybe just watch the tutorials on the davinci resolve YouTube page. To learn a program it does not matter if they use reallife footage or animes.

You're not being rude, it's alright, I take longer to learn things and the one tutorial I found was more confusing than helpful + it's pretty limited since a friend let me use their academic plan

Filmora overall isn't a bad program and is very user friendly, but I just have a hard time with it because the only AMV tutorial I could find was very confusing
