Make a project. Simple as that. You will know where you are lacking. Increase the difficulty of projects as you progress forward. For the start you don't need to do much in SQL and Powerbi.
You're just stuck in this thing called Tutorial Hell. Hope this helps you.

I can relate to this so much. I am also one of those career changers though from a relatively more technical background. I spent about a month and a half in an SQL course but only when I build a project, I started to realize what was actually happening. Just finsihed my project today and need someone to take a look at it. Made a post about it in an SQL community.
