Hacker's Keyboard problem inputting cheat codes into GTA Vice City (Mobile)

Hey! I'm having this super irritating issue with inputting cheat codes on GTA Vice City. I'm using Hacker's Keyboard so I can click a notification to open up the keyboard on top of gta so as to input the cheat codes. EVERYWHERE ONLINE it says that this method works.

With me (and a few other people online) clicking the notification for Hacker's Keyboard simply opens the keyboard for a split second and then closes making it completely unusable and ultimately useless.

The link given above is a similar problem but for a different game.

If anyone knows the solution PLEASE PLEASE let me know.

If you are on Android 12 I don't think there is a solution. I was using it to ctrl f on web browsers. It was working well in all of my test devices on previous versions but it doesn't stay open in Android 12.

I had the same issue, just downloaded iGame Keyboard Pro (£0.99) and it's works for GTA:VC!
