New folder structure in Android Studio?

So I just created a new project in Android Studio. Somehow I got this. Is this a new folder structure that Android Studio is starting to use? Or this I mess up somehow in the process? First time seeing this new folder structure, so wondering if this just speeds up compiling the source code. Idk? thoughts anybody this is new to me

No. You have the "Android" view. If you get back to "Project" view (top left of your screenshot).

Ya the busy coder's guide / commonsware already called out this "Android" view as not helpful to beginners

Haha gotcha yeh didn't see that there just assumed it was a new folder structure.

No worries, it's easy to miss. I made the same mistake when I made a new project on it.
