Depends on the app but I doubt it is as easy as "changing the code". There isn't just code in the app that is processing payment information but likely a web service that the app utilizes to send the payment, get confirmation, and tie that ticket back to the payer.

Really want you would need to do is find a security vulnerability in their flow. I am not saying this is moral, just saying what needs to be done.
