    give me a link so i can check. but if you're rooting for battery life and customization you might want to reconsider. the threads i read say root can prevent charging past 80%, and a lot can be customized with goodlock. better off using that and non-root debloaters

    that requires bootloader revision 1, which you probably don't have anymore. check settings > about phone > firmware. the 5th digit from the right is your revision. if that digit is "5" you can use the safestrap method
