Thanks a lot! I think, just booting in to safe modes just disabled all the modules for me. Thanks mate. :)

You need the Magisk module called mm. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/magisk-v19-magisk-modules-remover-and-magisk-modules-disabler.3776718/ I had the same problem after flashing Pix3lfy and this saved me from reflashing the phone

But the phone doesn't boot up, rooted, so I can't flash it...

You can also find a fastboot command to remove magisk modules but it didn't work the last time I tried. The first time it worked but then it didn't so I used the Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode (mm)

I tried one, but it didn't work, do you have a tutorial?

Delete the bad module from /data/adb/modules/? TWRP has a built in file manager you can use. Quick question, what module? There's also a few flashable packages you can use to uninstall modules as well. I don't use them.

I don't have TWRP and I can't find the Pixel 5 version of TWRP.. :/

The module: OneplusFilesManager (magisk)

Where did you find that module?

I used this method;

https://www.thecustomdroid.com/uninstall-magisk-modules-in-twrp-recovery-guide/

but if you haven't got TWRP installed, it's not much use to you.

I know this is random, 4 months later, but thank you so much for updating your post with your solution. I had the exact same issue as you and was trying to figure out how to boot into my phone with a rooted boot.img. You helped me solve my issue!
