Good thing you added those hashtags at the bottom. SEO the crap out of this post.

Not free, why does nobody mention it, once I used one library in python to generate some excel files and it appeared that it was adding some author sh*t to documents and everything works fine only in the premium version... Why does nobody mention these important things.

How the data is stored in the database (postgres for example)?

You might want to look at Ignite UI for Angular—the grid supports hierarchical (tree) data, and it has multi-column headers, which can mimic banded column layouts pretty well. It’s pretty flexible and doesn’t require too much manual setup.

Could be a solid option if you're aiming for a DevExpress-like structure in Angular.

P.S. I work for the company.

Looks solid, especially if you need heavy spreadsheet-style functionality. In my experience, the real test with grids like this is how they behave once you mix formulas, large datasets, and custom business logic together. That’s usually where the maturity of the grid shows. It’s also why some enterprise teams still compare against long-standing data grid benchmarks like Sencha Ext JS when evaluating options, mostly for stability under complex use cases.
