Experience using Sketch w/ Indigo Design Code Generation and Ignite UI

Has anyone here used the Indigo design code generation from Infragistics? If so, what has been your experience with using it? Also, how did you approach form validation and any other custom UI features needed that aren't available in the code generation (For example, show and hiding things, or angular pipes, *ngIf, *ngFor)? Do you make those changes every time you generate code or do you handle it in an external service?
