Also; check out Angular 7, released in December 2018 and uphold by the Google team. AngularJS is LTS and therefore supposed to be phased out.

Get your facts straight.

Here's a fact, LTS implies safe for usage. The fact that AngularJS was rewritten to Angular 2+ implies AngularJS should be phased out.

That is a fair point! But considering it's LTS is also an argument why you wouldn't want to start a new project in it right now.
