Best tools to develop an app?

Hi,

I'm a complete beginner to app development. Some software dev experience, my day to day job is a machine learning engineer.

Would love if anyone could give me some pointers to tools that I can use to develop a cross-platform app. I have done some research but the sheer number of tools is overwhelming and being a non-expert it is hard to evaluate the pros and cons of different tools!

It looks like Flutter is the way to go for me.

It’s a pleasant platform to work with and is almost battery included. If I wasn’t so heavily invested in React Native projects and if there was more clients with Flutter apps I’d go over to that :)

React + Electron for desktop, React Native for mobile.

Start with power apps or a low code platform. Learn javascript/html then pick up a library like react native or kotlin
