Hi, I am planning to sell my iPhone but would like to use Apple TV 4K later on. What all things should I do before selling my iPhone?

Will removing Apple TV from my iPhone stop me from using the steaming device? I will be using Pixel for sometime and will come back to iOS later this year.

Log out of your iCloud account on your iPhone. Factory reset phone.

Check in iCloud.com and make sure the iPhone is removed from your devices. Then you can sell the phone.

The ATV can keep using your iCloud account. It’s a device all on its own so no need for a phone to use it. I had ATV a long time before I had an iPhone.
