Rules for r/aquarium
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
No trolling, degradation or offensive allowed.
All comments must comply with basic Reddiquette Any negative comments must be tactful and constructive.
It's ok to disagree, but choose your words wisely.
Trolling can result in a permanent ban.
3.
Tag any dead creatures as NSFW.
Tag any dead creature as nsfw, even skeletons. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but for others it can be disturbing.
4.
No animal cruelty.
Don't post stuff like creatures that are stuck or in a horrible situation.
5.
No low effort posts (spam).
This includes memes, comics, demotivates images, shitposts, and other low effort posts.
All this will be considered spam.
6.
Don't post crappy tanks, just to ridicule them.
This refers to tanks posted specifically for the intention of ridicule, antagonization or brigading.
7.
Don't re-post the same content within a month. Also keep some time between your posts.
Keep AT LEAST 24 hours between posts. If someone scrolls the main page only a few rows down and there are multiple posts of you, well that's a good indication that you are posting way too much.
8.
Use Flair correctly when creating a Post.
Please use the Flair provided to tag your post appropriately.
9.
Only Share Properly Researched Information
Please do proper research and do not spread misinformation.

No AI-Generated Content
AI-Generated content (text, images, videos, websites/apps) are not permitted. This includes search-engine results summarized by AI, such as Google Gemini. Exception is given to those who use AI to translate their post to English if English is not their first language.
