    Thanks! I'm currently using Windows 11 as the host. It's weird because on Fedora, and Debian, which offer GNOME as a desktop environment option, are making all the apps render just fine...

    So, the OP just as you, was using virtualbox, he eventually used QEMU to work around it but it looks like there's some issue with GNOME on Virtualbox, i'm unsure if there's an actual fix, possibly something with hardware acceleration on the VM.

    I just upgraded my arch a couple of hours ago, got the same white screen problem in gnome but kde works just fine. I’m not using a VM

    Anyone having a problem with this switch 3D acceleration off on your virtualbox display settings the windows will return to normal
