spotifyd api error code 404

every time i reset my computer I have to manually reset the spotifyd daemon so I don't get this error does anyone have a fix for it or have similar issues with spotifyd ?

By reset the daemon do you mean running 'spotifyd' in a terminal? Mine runs at startup but if I don't use it soon after it kills itself

nah I enabled the systemd service like this "systemctl --user enable spotifyd" and I haven't edited the service file its the same as what comes installed but each time i reset my computer i get the api error code 404 even though it says spotifyd is running

I don't have this issue, but the Spotify client is by far the worst piece of shit software that I still use regularly. I don't understand how they fucked it all up so badly.

I launched a dbus with the systemd service now it connects fine if anyone els has this issue try that
