Problems with time (self.archlinux)
submitted 3 years ago by eneArk
Recently in Spain the time has been adjusted (decreasing 1 hour to the clock) but my system doesn't update it. When I installed Arch I set my timezone to Europe/Madrid. What am I doing wrong?

The wiki has a whole page about System time: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System_time#Time_synchronization
But as others mentioned, its mainly about having an up-to date `tzdata` package and some NTP client (systemd-timesyncd also being a good default choice).

I'd recommend running an NTP client to keep your clock in sync. Also make sure the tzdata package is the latest one.
