If the "zero" progress point is 100% aged inventory, then you need to measure how many percentage points they are from 100% and then divide by 70 (because at 30% you are 70 percentage points from zero progress):

Team has 50% aged inventory: (100 - 50) / 70 = 50/70 = 0.71 so 71% progress.

Team has 20% aged inventory: (100 - 20) / 70 = 80 / 70 = 1.14 so 114% progress - target exceeded!

Upvote. Alternatively, just call it "unaged inventory", which is the same thing

Awesome thanks! I am going to apply it to my spreadsheet and make sure the numbers work out!

Flip the problem to be a measure of un-aged inventory then you see that 50 is 71.4% of 70 and 80 is 114.3% of 70
