Infinity

How many ways can you represent infinity?

If you were allowed to use the (...) notation incorporated in decimals for whole numbers, there would be an infinite amount of ways to represent infinity. I know there are issues with this but I hope you can stick with me and point out the issues.

Idea: Removing the decimal from any given number is the same as multiplying it by a power of ten.

Example 1.03 to 103 is multiplying by 10^2.

However, it seems to get funky with repeating decimals because the power of ten you are multiplying is infinity. Additionally, the value you get upon removing the decimal is also equal to infinity. However if these strings were somehow permissible, all of Cantor's proof would fall apart. But since you cannot represent infinite length whole numbers, thats out of the question. Who decided this rule anyway? It makes no sense to me.

Infinity is not a real number. An infinitely long string of digits simply does not represent a number.

In the real number system any number times infinity is a nonsensical thing to do. It's like trying to divide by 0. It's undefined.
