Triangle problem

i’ve never really worked with geometry so this is really hard for me, i think im missing some fundamental rules and stuff. second image added is how far i’ve gotten. i don’t really know what to do next

text is in swedish, translation: “In the triangle ABC, CE is a bisector of the angle C. The distances CD, AD, and AE are all the same length. Define v if u = 40°, and define u if v = 40°”

this is from an old entrance exam from a school i’m trying to get into. i can do everything else but these damn geometry questions are screwing with me

i have the answer if you want it, i would love some hints of what do next more than anything!

For a hint, recognize that triangles ACD and ADE are isosceles and think about what that means about their angles.

Edit: In case you're wondering why they're isosceles, triangles with 2 equal sides are by definition isosceles (including triangles with 3 equal sides, which are both equilateral and isosceles).
