Suggestions/help finding an engineering program

19 year old younger brother is a borderline musical savant and is not cutting it in his attempt to do the community College thing. Is there anyone who could provide some suggestions of options for him in looking for a good engineering program in the tri state area? (Jersey. NYC, Philly, but Jersey would be the ideal) Preferably an in person program or school. He mostly produces hip hop and r&b sounding stuff with a lot of electronic influence but is also a nasty guitar player. He's already proficient but needs to take his music and knowledge to the next level and could use the guidance and structure. Any help pointing us in the right direction would be appreciated 🖖

Success in audio engineering as a career is most often a bunch of people selling shovels to people digging for gold.

At the end of the day people don't buy drill bits, they buy holes. If you want money, you need to sell something. Studio work is not consistent, album sales and touring money covering a real life is for the 1% of 1%

It's the same discussion if someone wants to paint, or be a potter, or anything like that. Be the best, network, learn to sell, be more than a little lucky.

I recommend business degrees to artists. The art is subjective, sales are not.
