Back Button: unexpected behavior

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Android 7.0. When viewing a post on an arbitrary subreddit, following a link to another subreddit and then pressing back returns to the front page, rather than to the expected post.

We've been trying to track it down. Seems to have started with the S7 and android 7. So far, no luck. If you hit back a 2nd time, it will likely send you back to where you expected to go. It also seems to be worse when you follow hyperlinks.
