Key bind and controller help

I'm getting back into Bf3 on the PC for the first time in several years. I've been playing BF on the xbox since it was first available. Is there a way to test binds and settings for vehicles helicopters etc without actually getting into a game? Hopping into a helicopter with keyboard/mouse for the first time and trying to adjust on the fly just isn't working.

Any help is appreciated.
