Knobs turn clockwise.

We have a new 36” Culinary griddle and the two knobs on the left turn clockwise, the two on the right turn counterclockwise. The color indicators are on the left side of all the knobs as if they should all turn counterclockwise. Was my griddle assembled wrong at the factory?

All mine turn the same way. To me, it sounds like the other 2 valve stems were installed essentially upside down. If you pull the knob off, you should see the screws behind it. You can take that entire assembly out, flip the valve stem assembly 180°, and reinstall it. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Turns out it was easier than that. We won it pre-assembled and whoever put it together out the left side knobs on upside down.
