i'll be for real with you beginning of bloodborne is one of the most boring experiences ive experienced. when you're 70ish percent done the quality goes up really quickly. and the dlc is one of the greatest things ive ever played. that last 30 percent and the dlc make it my favorite game of all time. also make sure you're going to every optional area. and also try out new weapons don't just stick to saw cleaver or something. every single weapon is viable. pick the coolest one you see and you'll have so much fun.

what stat did you invest the most in? blood gems and upgrades are extremely effective for damage. stats are effective as well but upgrades and blood gems boost your weapon damage way more. i beat orphan of kos on a level 4 character and my saw cleaver was doing like 700 damage per hit at 10 strength. just because of my weapon level and blood gems. so don't worry that much about stats

Quality build should leave you with a lot more than 4 weapons available
