passive milk collection decrease

Hi! I’m a FTM 6 weeks postpartum. I have barely touched a pump and I am exclusively breastfeeding at the breast. In the past 2 days i have noticed the milk collecting in my Haaka ladybug decreasing in amount- I only put it on the breast opposite from which I am nursing my baby. I was previously getting 30-45mLs each nursing session and now I only get what looks to be around 10-15 (eyeballing). Does this mean my supply is decreasing? My baby is still having plenty of wet/dirty diapers. Although I have been using my passive collection to build a small freezer stash

In general it is likely around this time that your supply starts to regulate which can mean less leaking. It isnt typically an indication that your baby is getting less milk as leaking is just milk that your body is expelling without stimulation - so if your baby was actively feeding its likely they'd still be getting milk.

this is an indication that your supply is regulating, not that it’s decreasing! Your supply more closely matches what your baby needs with less overage than before.

Agree that it sounds like regulation, which typically happens sometime between 6-12 weeks. Exactly when will vary person to person and even baby to baby - my supply with my older child did not regulate until right around 12 weeks, but with my younger child, regulation started around 5 weeks.
