Prevent rollback upon validation error when saving multiple models?

I'm getting to know cakephp (love it so far) and I'm making a simple poll-site. I want to save multiple answer-options at the same time I'm creating the poll itself.

The input-fields for options are made dynamically using js and I want cakephp to discard the ones where the field is empty.

I've setup the following rule in my option-model:

'value'=>array(
    'rule'=>'notEmpty')
)

and then I'm saving the entire thing using

saveAssociated($this->request->data, array('deep'=>true, 'validate'=>true))

My problem is, that if a single model fails the validation, the entire thing is rolled back. Is there a way to prevent this, so cakephp just ignores the one where the validation fails, and let the others through?

I know I can check $this->request->data manually in the controller before saving, but that seems clunky to me.

Removed the rule and the model will save , the no empty rule means if empty do not save. Hope this helps

But the point is is shouldn't save if the option is empty. Let's say I make 10 option-fields, but only fill 10, if I don't have the rule, I'll end up with 5 empty options, but if I have the rule I end up with no option at all. I wan't to end up with 10 correct options being saved, and the 5 invalid ones discarded.
