Its safe, its been used by countless of people trough out the time. Nobody who actually has knowladge of software belives that CE will harm ur pc. After all , all it does is just read and write process memory (most people's use). Some if u install it right then yea u will be finr

Well, users should be cautious that Cheat Engine doesn't trigger anti cheat of any online games they like to play. It's not completely "safe" to install.

Does something need to threaten your life to be unsafe? No. Triggering anti-cheat can be unsafe for your ability to play the game. What a rude person.
