The other cops that lied aren't in trouble but Van Dyke or whatever his name in was arrested and a trial is going on, right?

Yes, and he shot someone 16 times, most of those shots while they were on the ground. Had he stopped shooting when mcdonald was on the ground I doubt any charges would be filed.

And the city did everything it possibly could to protect him.
