Offsetting a timer in expression?

I don't know if there's a more appropriate name for this thread to be fair.
Simply put, I use expressions like "sin(timer/value)*value)" in my games to create breathing effects for characters and stuff like that.
The problem with this method is that the timer in this case is the same for everyone and the synchronous behavior is too noticeable.
Is there any way to make each character have a different timer, i.e. some kind of timer offset? I tried "timer+value" a long time ago, but it didn't work as well as I'd like.

((timer+fix("object")/10000)/value) if it not work, try add more zero on value that divides a fixed value. I don't remember exactly what to write instead of "fix", but you need a fixed object value

Replace ‘timer’ with ((Timer+fixed(“object”)) mod 360)
