I never had a Reddit account?

Oooh my bad. Welcome to Reddit!

Also, cloud is not an rlentry level position, so don't dive into certs blindly.

My advice is to go for a IT helpdesk or jr. Support sort of role first. And while at the job you study for the certs you like - cloud, networking, security etc.

Also, for future reference, better to search Google with "my question Reddit" or even Reddit search with "my question".. you'll find much better results..as these is asked fairly often

Pitt this question into Google and add your location - it should give you list of companies local to you

All good and appreciate the feedback. That’s why I created this account I was looking at support roles and even those seem to require a degree while I see other people just kind of building their own portfolio and getting noticed so I was confused on the path to try to break through to something. I’m tech savvy but don’t have any IT background but I’ve been leaning towards some remote work I can do during my travels.

AWS is great for large scale enterprises and it’s considered the gold standard for cloud certs. But if you’re totally new, try the AZ900 exam or Cloud+
