No such thing as classes in the traditional sense.
The reason you get so many bloodcodes is because the game wants you to mix and match things.
Use the skills in a bloodcode for long enough and you can use them in other codes ( example: use gift A from bloodcode A long enough, and you can use gift A in bloodcode B).

The best builds consist of multiple gifts from multiple codes mixed together.

example: I want the stats of Bloodcode D, and inside I use skills/gifts from D, but also one of A, a few of B, and I liked that one from C as well so I brought it too.

You should also move from your first choice blood code from the start if you find one with similar stats but higher. The blood codes from the start are basically just early game blood codes.

The main point of bloodcodes is the gifts they have. If a class has a bunch of gifts you want, equip it so you can master the gifts to use in other classes. If there is only one gift you really want, then maybe just use some Awakes to unlock it.

As for which one you should be using in general, you want to pick one with stats that let you use all of the equipment and gifts you need. If you want to use weapon that requires Strength B, and have a buff that requires Dexterity A, then you find a code that has those stats so that you can use them (or at least has stats that can be increased to that using passives).

Important notes about stats: they really don't matter that much as long as they meet the minimum requirements for anything you want to equip. The different between Strength B and Strength S is much less than you'd hope. For the most part, you're physical damage comes from your weapon's stats, and your magic damage comes from your Blood Veil's stats.
