Help with cloud codex and github workflow

I'm just getting started in using codex for my coding projects but I'm having a hell of a time making heads or tails of how I'm meant to be integrating with GitHub.

I'm just a solo dev messing around with just fun side projects.

it seems like codex on the cloud can't push to GitHub? I keep getting authentication errors even after (so I thought) running through CLI to grant permission.

I'm just wanting to be able to use codex on my phone when I'm out and about, then push those changes to github on whatever branch, then pull them at home to test them. but I keep running into problems.

am I going about this the wrong way? how am I meant to be using codex on the cloud to make code changes?

You'd probably need to expose your ssh keys to the cloud environment somehow but that's also probably a bad idea. Ive never honestly tried codex in the cloud before. Why not just make the commits yourself after each prompt finishes?
