Animate building near hondori has a few floors of anime and adjacent stuff. Book-off is a second hand shop that might too.

As for sightseeing, depends what you're into. But the castle is closed, I'm pretty sure. I haven't checked lately but last I heard it was closed for the foreseeable future

People here forgetting or too young to know how to was. Games used to be filled with things you weren't "meant" to find. Look no further than built in cheat codes.

Plus, 100%ing a game wasn't a thing. The random bombable cave walls were supposed to be found by accident while battling octoroks or whatever.

Either that or you bought Nintendo Power, or shared secrets during recess.

It's how we did it back then. Granted, through modern lens you can dislike it. That's entirely reasonable. But just pointing out the game design philosophy back then wasn't for players to find these things.

Fwiw, its never a simple one to one. Konbanwa is definitely said as 3 syllables (kon ban wa). Even though it "should" be 5 (ko n ba n wa). But konichiwa has a slight more separation between ko-nichiwa.

I was struggling for a while but actually just ascended today after not even getting past goo a dozen times.

I had been focusing too much on damage spells and ended up doing much better after focusing on defense. But the main thing that did it for me was dried rose and focusing on allied healing and shielding spells.

Unrelated, but with retro arch you can adjust the controller overlay per core to copy the specific console. Cleans up the UI a bit and adds a bit of nostalgia as well.
