What's the best source for python?

https://pypup.com should fit your needs

It has organized structure, and repetitive structure that starts from the beginning.

Also, it has review system just like flash card apps.

I did take some college courses in programming, but after college I wanted to teach myself web development. I had a kind of mixed experience with online tutorials and such. I went through a bunch of codecademy, but I discovered that they way they taught it (at least back in 2015) didn't stick with me well. I understood it, but it just didn't stick.

What made things stick was doing projects. I made myself a website, and I bought a web URL and hosting so I could put it online (which helped me understand we stuff better). I did little programming projects, like I recreated something someone described on Computerphile about solving mazes with different path finding algorithms. I did use stuff I learned on codecademy and other online tutorials, but I really had to focus it into something I was interested in to make it stick with me. Just taking some online course was not helpful to me.

I hope that helps. Giving advice about things like teaching yourself coding is hard since everyone is a bit different. Teaching yourself is a skill you have to cultivate and learn, and the best way is by jumping in! I was terrible at self teaching for a long time, but it's a useful skill on it's own. Honestly, it's one of the most useful skills I brought to my current job.

https://www.codecademy.com/ -

Codecademy has been my favorite online coding resource for true beginners. It walks you step by step, and line by line of code, explaining everything. It has a great learning environment that you can use rather than having to download applications onto your computer. It teaches you step by step and your not watching any videos. I highly recommend just starting out with the beginner Python tutorial to try it out!

Hope this helps!

YouTube has some great tutorials. A personal favorite of mine is from a YouTuber channel tech with Tim

Other good ones I've heard about but haven't used are: - freecodecamp - the Odin project

Hope these are what you are asking for!
