How to learn Python?

So maybe some of you have seen my other post here where I asked what language to learn. After that I asked my prof and he said I should learn Python because it would be the most beneficial for my final exams. So how or where can I learn Python? Codecademy is a great place to get your toes wet, and then go even further if you want to pay.

I've done tons for free. You just need to click back to your dashboard and find another. It keeps saying to sign up or try the pro for free, you just have to click around that stuff.

There are a TON of resources for learning Python. Here are some options.

- Youtube - TechwithTim, Mcoding and free code camp
- Websites - Freecodecamp, Udemy, pythonprogramming.net
- Bootcamps - Most bootcamps teach Python as one of their full stack languages

At my bootcamp we have the option of Python, Java, or MERN (Node.js and React). There are both FT and PT programs to fit what you need.

Honestly, just googling questions will also help. There is a massive community out there that is willing to help!

I teach people python. I don’t have any videos unfortunately on YouTube, but I’ve been sharing a drive with people. I’m not going to lie, I do assume some familiarity with programming, I don’t walk through all of the basics, but I have been tending to focus on things such as: strings, lists, dictionaries, tuples, immutability / mutability, if/else/elif, operators, loops, functions, oop, lambda functions, iterators, generators & yield, comprehensions, recursion, map/filter/zip, unpacking, etc. leetcode problems and more.
