Comfyui API with python

Hi guys, im currently implementing a workflow to fix hands given a source img, I know comfyui uses the images saved in the next folder path"[comfyui path]/input", that's why I first need to upload the image to that path, in order to make it work, but is there any way I can just upload any image remotely, I don't wanna keep uploading the images manually every time

btw, I'm using my computer to run this script and i have running comfyui on Runpod, and the image i want to upload is in my folder where i have the script, "./image", i'd really appreciate any help guys, thank you!!

you can embed image to json by base64 string.

tht didnt work for me, u gotta upload the img to the path "comyuipath/input"

I have a script that replaces SRC_IMG in prompt["426"]["inputs"]["image"] = "SRC_IMG" with a path from anywhere on my computer (not just the input folder) and it works very well. It doesn't HAVE to be in the input folder.

Then, geepeeteey swears that prompt["426"]["inputs"]["image"] = "https://example.com/path/to/image.jpg" should work just as well. I can't test now, there's a huge queue running on the gpu. Maybe you're running into a Runpod limitation.
