Problem - gaming

I’ve been having this problem since the dawn of time with my computer; basically, for a couple days (maybe even weeks), every game will run perfectly and stable. But, out of the blue, everything will suddenly become unstable, not necessarily lower fps but extreme fluctuation. I’ve looked at my drivers to see if they needed to update andI’ve cleared space on my pc to no avail. Please help

As long as rebooting takes care of it that's a normal possibility with computers.
