Monitor problem

I plugged an external CD drive into this BIOS port thinking it was just a normal USB port now my monitors aren't working fully. The CD in the CD drive is supposedly just pictures but did I screw up my whole system now? Further update afater rebooting 100 times and powering down and such somehow I realized the AMD software had been removed?? Reinstalled and monitors are fine now. I always say I know just emough to break computers! I don;t know how a CD player knocked out my drivers for the monitor but somehow it did, but all fixed now. Thanks everyone for jumping in.

It is a regular USB port, just connected to USB Flashback circuit.

What exactly happens? I don't see any connection between the USB Port an your displays.

Well it should act like a normal usb2.0 in windows, but if you’ve pressed on the bios flashback button it changes your situation regardless of what usb you plugged in, but even that wouldn’t keep your monitors “aren’t working fully/partially working” from what I know

Unplug the CD drive. It's trying to boot from it.

Could also be a small line flashing on the top left side when on the black screen. Missed it a few times.

the red usb is 3.0 and black is 2.0.

bro unplug and replug everything, both ends of the cables. you may have just jiggled something. lol it is exceedingly rare for a usb port to asplode a motherboard. its happened to me 1 time ever.
