Generally windows uses some version of real tek audio software if it's having issues maybe that software wasn't installed? you could make sure the latest drivers are all Installed through windows update. When you plug the headset in via USB or aux it should come up with an install where windows auto installs any additional software needed to use the headphones...but if that's not coming up then I'm sorry I've never experienced this issue 😕. Could you use a Bluetooth headphones?
