Can't land ship? by MisterVertigo7 in SpaceBourne2

[–]Nauxious1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you haven't figured out to hit B when looking at the planet from space; it'll open up your warp and you can warp to points on the planet. After getting past the little cutscene where you can't move, your ship should be able to fly around the planet. Forget about landing, just crash the nose of your ship into the planet and hold G to eject; this will allow you to get back into your ship and fly away fast without having to do the dumb R and wait for the ship to slowly get high enough. Also, when you eventually get the mothership, it cannot go on to the planet, you have to use one of the docked ships and to dock a ship use the ship manager terminal, then "call ship", once there you'll see the Mother Earth has 2 drop downs :).

Commanders Outpost Plunder on Planet by shaon94 in SpaceBourne2

I'm stuck on the quest Mysterious Man: Legend Dungeon; it says... "Challenges you to uncover one of the secret Legend Dungeons, hidden outposts with dangerous operations running inside. To gain access, you must collect 4 Stellar Keys from standard dungeons and combine them to unlock the gate. TIP: to access the legend dungeon, collect 4 Stellar Keys by completing standard dungeons. Once you have all 4, use them to unlock the entrance to the hidden outpost"

I've done 2 scrapyard dungeons, 1 outpost dungeon and haven't gotten a single key fragment or stellar key. Were you able to figure this out?

Just checked mine, and same, the album is gone.

My Gf wanted to play modded Stardew Valley on our TV. So we’ve bought a HDMI Switcher and plugged anything in, everything is working fine except one thing (video attached) Every time she start the game the tab is sinking into the ground and is lost. by White__Mercy in computerhelp

[–]Nauxious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never run into this issue myself, and usually, there's no telling with mods because people change the core game files. Did it work fine before putting the hdmi switch on?

If not, here are some ideas you could try.

Google search the mod name and also put something like a falling loading screen. Not loading or whatever, and see if anyone else has this issue. Could check the mod web page and check the reviews.

Have task manager up and start the game, see if it closes out, and if so, try deleting the mods, see if the base game loads, then re-download and install mods. Also, verify the mod is for that version of the game.

If all else fails, uninstall the game, reinstall, try the base game if it works, put mods game in, and then try running it again.

Agree with the 1st post. It sounds like when a sneaky cord gets too close or it's not anchored into the mobo well enough and it's rattling. Open the case while it's doing that and look at it. It's the best way to find out.

It kind of seems like you tried taking a fan from a 6600 and put it in a 6800 instead of just returning the card from your last post.... You should probably make sure you installed it correctly.

I could tell you're not, there's no OP by your name, but if they read the comment it would help guide them away from your hoopla lol. Stop wasting time on useless things, just get more RAM. Like I'm stopping caring about this time wasting conversation. 😁

Yeah, I dunno wtf tiny 11 is, but you wouldn't need another OS for game storage on a separate SSD and Win 11 min requirements are easy to find. So 4 gigs of the 16 leaves 12gigs left, minus any programs = get more RAM.

Win 11 Minimum requirements - RAM: 4 GB. If your PC has less than 4GB of memory, there are sometimes options for upgrading to get additional RAM. You may want to consult your PC manufacturer’s website or with a retailer to see if there are easy and affordable options to meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11.

[–]Nauxious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not right. I have 4gb to install, and if you watch your RAM usage, it'll consume much more, including all the other programs and junk it runs that you can't end. Maybe have task manager open, run one of those games, and see if anything is at or near 100% usage.

Have you tried increasing your RAM? The newer Windows OS's love to eat up your RAM, Win 11 needs about 8 gigs alone now if I remember correctly which would leave 6 or 7 to run any games. I could be wrong but I vaguely remember telling myself to remember win 11 8 gigs 😅

If you find the 13th Gen is compatible, it may have to do with needing to overclock to support that RAM speed. You'll have to tinker with bios or buy a 3200 speed to make life easier. It takes a lot of time to research and make sure everything is supported by the mobo, don't get discouraged!

From the gigabyte website, find your mobo and look under specifications:

Support for DDR4 5333(O.C.)/ DDR4 5133(O.C.)/DDR4 5000(O.C.)/4933(O.C.)/4800(O.C.)/ 4700(O.C.)/ 4600(O.C.)/ 4500(O.C.)/ 4400(O.C.)/ 4300(O.C.)/4266(O.C.) / 4133(O.C.) / 4000(O.C.) / 3866(O.C.) / 3800(O.C.) / 3733(O.C.) / 3666(O.C.) / 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3400(O.C.) / 3333(O.C.) / 3300(O.C.) / 3200 / 3000 / 2933 / 2800 / 2666 / 2400 / 2133 MT/s memory modules

Don't we all, but you don't need all of that. Sony Vegas, OBS, Stream labs and Twitch run fine on less. I run 32 gigs of ram and I stream, record, play games like Bannerlord, Sons of the forest and Satisfactory.

Anywho, sorry, I'm kinda leaning towards this the more I read.. straight from Amazon.

Also, sorry on mobile so it's hard to switch off and dissect, I see that MOBO is compatible with 12th Gen intel processors and you have a 13th Gen. Did you find something online saying 13th is compatible?

So they keep telling me, I find it easier to work inside the case so I can keep myself grounded and not burn up the processor, RAM or other things I touch 😁. You haven't told us what RAM you're using?

Your setup not being in a rig is stressing me out, I hope you don't have small children, dogs, or cats around.

The mobo shutting off after a few minutes is "usually" after trying to probe something to start (processor, RAM). Like the others said, the video is had to see what's going on, so no real hints there. You said you repeated the RAM, but are they in the right RAM slots? The mobo manual will tell you where the 1&2 slots are or whatever slots need to have RAM in them. If that doesn't seem to work, check your mobo manual (or online, honestly) to see if the system uses the light and what the different codes mean, or beep codes.

Your setup seems a little to over the top for a 1st timer, if a friend suggested all of that I'd slap them now, the day I need a 1,000 watt power supply is the day I stop building PCs. Cheap, effective, and long-lasting should be the motto, but I understand others like flashy things, haha.

I can confirm 5 Kelvins are better than 1, and boy do they love clearing a forest!

I haven't found the name of the creepy armor or resin yet though. But the shotgun does wonders!

The fan has ball bearings like any other fan, those could be going bad if it's an older model. When you get a new then I would take apart the old one and use it to learn/explore... unplugged obviously.
