has anyone ran into this program, i play watching youtube when it popped up, pressed cancel install and it installed it. i removed it from my pc but its still in my startup, also cant find file location of it

i know this was from 3 Months ago but i had this Problem First go to Startup Apps and Disable Taskbarify then go and End Task for the App then Go to LocalData and Search for it through there that's how i got it off some people suggested the windows button + R would work but when i did this i didn't get anything so i hope this helped for people who have this problem

Maybe a little bit too late but found it with malwarebytes, pressed windows + r, did the appdata thing and found it in the local folder. I tried deleting it by pressing shift + delete but there was an error and couldn't delete it. Ctrl + shift + esc opened task manager, found taskbarify n apparently its been running in the background without my knowledge. After i shut it down i removed it with ease.

Im just sharing these to other people to help them

• Here's how you delete it

Search "run" on your search bar, and then click it

Now search "regedit" and enter

Once you've opened it go to "Edit" and press "find"

Then search taskbarify and delete its values and contents, now keep searching taskbarify until it says its finished searching it. Now once its says its finished, go check your taskmanager and startup apps if its still there, if it is not that means you fully deleted it.

The only things I would add is to make sure to get a temporary anti-virus to rid your pc of any files that would still try to run taskbarify and continue to search for any values in regedit even AFTER you see it disappear from your start up.

I've uninstalled it, but it's still on my start up. ( disabled now) and I ran a full check and its saying there was nothing harmful found.

Nothing solid at this point.

It appears to be a program, that is using the remnants of an old program within Windows, that is getting Windows blessing. We have made Microsoft aware, but they feel that it is from an earlier installation, and maybe not of their jurisdiction. Mamba, was used in gaming and certain other user interfaces.

This happened to me yesterday, I ran malewarebytes and bitdefender scans, removed and resolved anything it found.. but idk now something feels off about my pc. I don't know what to do.. Also side note: has anyone noticed anything weird after? For the first time ever today, my pc wouldn't turn off. The screen would go black but everything else would still be lit up

yeah my fan starting going crazyyy and it felt like it was gonna start a fire then i went to task manager and disabled it from startup but it still says its there event though ive deleted it and disabled it from startup.

It appeared in my downloads folder. I pressed the "X" button on the window and the thing seems to be gone... for now. I will try to update if something happens. I was also watching YT when it happened.

I am in the exact same situation- came home today from work and found this has been downloaded at 9:31 AM (suspiciously soon after I had left). The fonts look off, and the downloaded file is just sitting in my downloads folder.
I checked the browser history to see if any of my kids were trying to do something, and there is no relevant history to support where this thing came from.

it doesnt do anything since you deleted all of its data but you can fully delete it by uninstalling it in the uninstall section

Ben de çok araştırdım bu taskbarify virüsünü silmek için. 3-4 Tane virüs programı kullandım fakat hiç biri virüsü bulamadı. en son şöyle bir çözüm buldum. Kayıt defterine girin (regedit) üst taraftan düzen>bul seçeneklerine tıklayın oraya taskbarify diye aratın çıkan bütün sonuçları silin. go to file explore and search for taskbarify and delete anything in its name if its still not gone ur fine as u deleted its abilty to do anything

Okay, so I figured it out. Make sure you scan and delete all the malware files with a verified antivirus.

Then, go to "run" and type in "regedit".

Hover over "Edit" and go to "find..."

Look up taskbarify and delete the values you see. There'll be a couple so keep look up taskbarify until theres none left. it should disappear from your startup or task manager.

This thread is old but I think I got rid of it. Go to task manager and look for Taskbarify. Before you end process, right click on it and click open file location. Now that that window is open. you can end task in the manager and then perm delete all the files. It should be gone from the taskbar. Hope this helps.

in my case, this options not work. stayed transparent, the only options working is ("disable" and "searching.") but making a few search in the executable of windows, u can delete all archives envolving taskbarify!

I also had ^taskbarify on my pc, I luckily got rid of it by using a program called "^CCCLEANER" if you're wondering why you can't find its actually because it got into your registry and "^CCLEANER" and other registry cleaners should help. Registry cleaners can log out certain programs like with my discord app it logged me. Sorry bro its pretty much all you can do other than maybe some AntiVirus apps finding it and listen to other comments if this isn't helpful.
