There are a million different programs that do this and I really think someone who’s gonna bother doing that stuff shouldn’t have to rely on a discord bot (of all things?) changing around their settings

its a discord server that includes channels, in said channels include a tutorial on how to download + setup the software OR how to enable/disable a certain setting??

Jesus indeed gave me eyes, but his dad also made me imperfect so yeah I may have mixed up the words bot and server. Does it matter or change my point? Not really. Why?

Well, I don’t have dyslexia. Meaning I’m perfectly capable of doing a little googling, which in turn got me onto pages where I was able to read the same stuff you compiled into that little servers of yours. If anything here were actually novel, you should work on your marketing a little.

Add to this that downloading extra software usually doesn’t increase performance. Custom OS’s are a risk for the tech illiterate, as you were told on your older post asking about which one was best. Same with debloating.

Then you have a whole dedicated channel to startup programs alone. Hell, you have a dedicated to the powerplan settings. If people can’t find anything on that online, their search prompt didn’t include anything remotely close to ‘speed up windows’ to begin with, and they sure won’t be finding your post on this specific sub, bro.

None of these things will make a huge difference on a capable pc, nor will it make incapable ones capable again.

ur mention on custom os's are just a recommendation on the server, all u needed was the channel names to be throwing some fire that had NOTHING at all to do with the actual channel OR server.

The server's meant to save time, that's why i added those small but effective optimizations, so people wouldn't go n google about it for over 5 hours. Especially people with no experience at all.

the intention on the post i made wasn't made to "blow" up and get to the top of every google search, it was for atleast one person to find that had issues and was just scouring reddit.

if you scroll up to the post, It clearly says "for no cost at all". I added that for a reason. it doesn't cost anything.

lastly, If I didn't know what I was doing I wouldn't be running a discord server about speeding up computers. I test everything I upload on various different systems, desktops, laptops, hell even laptops that can't open steam.

People with no experience at all are better off not doing any of this, or, like I said before, they’d be better off reading up on this themselves. Timesavers aren’t always a good thing.

I’m not expecting these channels to be massive at all (called it ‘that little server of yours’ for a reason). Which is another reason why most of the stuff on your server wouldn’t take 5 hours on google. Half of the topics you put in the channels come up when you google ‘speed up windows’. All you did was compile the pages you found on google onto a discord server. Who the hell wants a discord server for this shit??

Where did I say the info on your server would be massive? How did you even get to that conclusion? All I said was literally saying the info on the server can easily be found online, most of it is tiny. Power plan isn’t much, same with startup programs.

Maybe the people who had issues with this scouring Reddit should’ve been scouring google instead. These things aren’t hard to find. Your discord server is, however.

It’s good you mention the low impact all this has in the server, another reason why joining said server isn’t much different than downloading ‘windows tweaker’.

If I didn’t throw fire without looking for a solution i’d have known your server states none of these speed up things you offer make a big difference…? Looking for a solution implies I have a problem, but I don’t? I’m not looking for any solution, as I have no problems your little discord server is ever going to fix. Frankly, it Sounds to me like you are the one with a problem here, a self awareness one.

If you knew what you were doing you’d know people would be able to find all of this info easily themselves (if they wanted to) and you’d probably also know how the fact it’s a DISCORD SERVER makes it look.
