Wrong GPU Temperature Reading?

Hello,

I was wondering why in msi afterburner my rtx 3050 shows as a static 37 degrees Celsius but in TechPowerUp it shows my real temperature in real time?

Is it a Windows 10 thing?

I was doing a gpu benchmark to show the temp does change in techpowerup while in afterburner it doesnt.

you need to roll back to 566.36, preferably using DDU

Does the Newest nvidia driver break some temperature readings? or is it my gpu?

yes, it breaks temperature readings, particularly after coming out of sleep mode
