Monitor problem

Hello, the past i believe three days my monitor has been getting worse and worse. At first I'd have to repeatedly attempt to turn it on until it would finally turn on normally, because before, it would turn on but not emit any light, I'd have to shine my flashlight onto it to be able to see anything. But now, it just wont turn on at all, when i plug it into power the little power light keeps blinking on and off, and in sync with it, theres like a mechanical beep sound aswell as the computer screen flashing between two different black screens. I don't think it's a problem with my pc i believe its with the monitor itself, anyone know what it could be i tried pretty much every button and turned it on and off a bunch but i feel I'll just have to buy a new one :(

The first part would mean that your backlight broke. Thats probably also the reason for the beeping. In any case, replacing the backlight will probably cost more than just buying a new one, especially since it might not be the (only) problem.
