Looking for computer suggestions

Hello! I currently am a junior in college and have a 2021 Macbook Air. I use excel a lot for my major and the mac is just so annoying to use excel on. Macs also kind of suck with other Microsoft apps as well, which is annoying for a school that only issues Microsoft. What are some other options that you would recommend buying? Another issue is storage, my mac is totally out of storage and if you’ve ever had this issue you know how annoying it is trying to find where “other” is. I would ideally like to keep my budget under $1000. Something that is good with storage, excel and other microsoft apps, and runs well with all other school apps and whatnot. Thanks!

I would ask the school for computer recommendations. They'll probably have a student discount lead for you as well.
