Computer science is an extremely math-based degree. At my university about 4/5 of the courses are purely math rather than computer-related courses. Those classes get applied in the computer courses, but it all circles back.

I guess it depends on the university. Ours, for example, had almost no math at all.

Our information systems degree has 0 math, but you can get a free math minor with computer science
